The Low-Income Fare is Easy (LIFE) program provides fare subsidy coupons to eligible riders who purchase daily, weekly, or monthly Metro and EZ transit passes from participating Metro and transit agency Pass Sales Outlets.
The following transit agencies participate in the LIFE Program: AVTA, Big Blue Bus, Culver City Bus Lines, Torrance Transit, LADOT, Santa Clarita Transit, Foothill Transit, Long Beach Transit, Montebello Bus Lines and Norwalk Transit.
The subsidy coupon booklets are issued to eligible riders and are accepted at participating pass sales locations. The coupons are valid for a single use and must be submitted at the time of purchase to Metro or participating transit systems Pass Sales Outlets to receive a reduction equal to coupon value.
