Summer College Boot Camp

High School Juniors & Seniors throughout the Boyle Heights community participated in an intensive college boot camp preparing them in applying to and succeeding in college. During the college boot camp information on college 101 financial aid, financial literacy, student services, SAT Prep and the university application process created a safe learning community for students to excel.

• 20 Students participated in a two week college boot camp.
• 2 Campus tours to Cal State channel Island & UC Irvine provided students first hand experience to college life.
• 10 hours of SAT Prep was provided and a SAT study guide book to prepare students for their test.
• 100 Percent of students fell better prepared for the college process.
